About Us
Clarke County Youth Football League is a non-profit youth sports organization based in Berryville, Virginia. The league offers programs in flag football, tackle football, and cheerleading for children aged 7-13 who are residents of Clarke County and the surrounding area.
Clarke County Youth Football League is dedicated to the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and reverence. Through supervised competitive football games and related activities we provide a safe and structured environment for our participants to become well adjusted, strong, educated, and most importantly happy. Our goal is to provide the leadership and resources to develop good, healthy, and trustworthy future citizens.

Message from the President
Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2010 season of the Clarke County Youth Football League. During this off-season there have been several changes to the league structure and operation, and they are as follows:
Expansion of B League to 5 Teams
To address higher registration numbers at the B League level and to provide more playing time opportunities for our participants, the B League has been expanded to include a 5th team. Should registration levels warrant further expansion, a 6th team may be added prior to the draft.
Physicals- Will be required for cheerleaders and football players!
Only physicals Dated Jan. 01, 2010 - Aug. 08, 2010 will be accepted!
(Most Physicians will fill out a sports physical from a previous physical!)
Participant and Registration Limits – No Applications after –June 26, 2010
In conjunction with expansion, the league will be implementing a cap on the number of participants per team as an additional effort to increase playing time for our participants. Please register early to ensure your player’s participation, as some registrants may be “wait-listed” if necessary. Registrations will not be accepted after June 26th. Please use one of the attached registration forms or visit our website at http://www.ccyfinc.com/ to download your registration form.
Registration Dates-
June 05, 2010- Reg/ Tryouts 9:00-11:00 A.M. JWMS
June 13, 2010- End of Early Registration
June 19, 2010- Reg/ Tryouts 2:00-4:00 P.M. JWMS
June 22-26, 2010 IBTL Football Camp. [Registration fee Included in cost of camp]
June 26, 2010- Final Reg/Tryouts 9:00-11:00 A.M. JWMS
Registration Fees –
Unfortunately, participation in our 2009 league fundraisers was unusually low and did not meet the demand for our ongoing equipment replacement and reconditioning program. As a result, registration fees have been adjusted to offset the increasing costs of equipment, insurance, and referee expenses. The success of our league depends on full participation in fundraising efforts by each family.
Non-Participation in Team concession Duties will result in Team game forfeiture!
We have a great Group of Volunteer Coaches and Volunteer Board members!
Volunteer being the key word!
With a little help from all of YOU we can do great things for our league!
While there is no perfect solution addressing these types of changes, we believe that the policies adopted for this season are appropriate and reflect our focus on the safety and benefit of our players and cheerleaders not only for the upcoming season but also for the years to follow.
We are looking forward to an exciting and successful season for both you and your children. As parents, your participation is vital to the success of our program and we encourage you to take an active role. This can be a rewarding experience for everyone.
